Our work in the arts revolves around building strong relationships between artists, producers, festivals, venues, curators and directors in the UK and India. We work with partners to develop and curate exciting projects in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, museums, literature, design, film and more.
We are recruiting for the following posts in India.
Head Arts Programmes India - Delhi
- The person, reporting to Director Arts, will develop and manage the implementation of the Arts programme for India. The applicant will have to develop relationships with key stakeholders across the arts sector in India and UK and work to increase the profile and impact, manage finance and risk, and secure partners and sponsorship.
Senior Manager Arts - 4 positions - one each in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai
- The person will manage and implement Arts programmes aligned to the British Council's strategic objectives and will have to:
- Maintain and develop close understanding of the arts scene in India and links with the relevant sectors in the UK
- Develop partnerships and project ideas
- Deliver high quality communications which ensures that the impact of our work in the arts is amplified through digital and social networking media, the regular press and internal channels
- Develop and nurture arts sector relationships
- Generate partnership and sponsorship funding
- Manage finance and risk
Senior Manager Arts - Finance and Evaluation - Delhi
- The person will provide a wide spectrum of financial and monitoring and evaluation support to the Arts team across India.
