4284 Vacancy for Constable at West Bengal Police 2015 Application Form

Invited application for Constables (Male) in West Bengal Police. Constables in West Bengal Police and Special IR Battalion in the Pay Scale of Rs.5,400 - 25,200/- (i.e. Pay Band-2) + Grade Pay Rs.2,600/-. The application window for submission of application forms through on-line will remain operative for the period from 03/08/2015 to 04/09/2015. Off-line forms can also be downloaded during the above duration. The last date for receipt of filled in Application Forms through Postal Services (off-line) is 04/09/2015 (upto 05:00 PM).

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Constables (Male) in West Bengal Police from candidates between 18 and 27 years of age as on 01.01.2015 (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates of West Bengal only and Ex-serviceman & Serving Home Guards of West Bengal Police) having passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination. Application Forms may be submitted either through on-line or off-line.
However, submission of on-line forms under the UBI Challan Payment Mode remains open till 09/09/2015 (5:00 PM) due to technical reasons.

Procedure for Online submission of application

Candidate should read the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options. Candidate should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. Mandatory fields are marked with * (asterisk) sign. The filling of online application contains two parts:

Application For Recruitment of SI in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant SI in CISF Examination - 2015

Registration (Starts on 28-03-2015)
Registration (Part I Closes on 26-04-2015 up to 5:00 pm)
Registration (Part II Closes on 28-04-2015 up to 5:00 pm) (Challan Generation Last date : 27-04-2015)

In Part I registration, candidate will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidate will be prompted to check the details and make correction, if any, in the application.

Candidate may press “I agree” button after declaration once he/she finds that information supplied by him/her is in order and no correction is required. Thereafter no correction/modification shall be allowed.
When “I agree” button is pressed, a page with Registration No. will be generated. Please note down registration number or take a print out of the page. The application is incomplete without payment , uploading of photograph, and scanned signature.
Then upload a recently taken scanned photograph in JPG format. The digital size of each file must be less that 12 kb and greater than 4 kb and resolution 100 pixel widths by 120 pixels height.
Then upload your scanned signature in JPG format. The digital size of each file must be less that 12 kb and greater than 1 kb and resolution 140 pixel widths by 60 pixels height.
Candidates who can pay application fee online though SBI net banking or cash through SBI bank challan.
To pay fee in cash, candidate should take printout of challan generated online after completion of registration. Candidate may go to nearest SBI branch for depositing fees after 24 hours of submission of online form. In case of offline channel, if the candidate submits form on 24.01.2015, they may submit payment on next working day 25.01.2015. Challan should be generated till 1 day before closing day of the application.
Those who want to pay online through SBI portal can go directly after submission of form.
After payment through offline channel candidate should complete his/her Part II registration by opting Pay by cash and click on continue button (after generating the challan) on payment page which redirects the page to fill the transaction details given by bank on challan.
Those who are exempted from payment of fee can skip steps 5 to 8.
An email will be sent to your email id informing you that the application has been successfully registered. Registration No, email confirming registration and proof of payment of application fee should be retained by you.
Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the application form.
Regional offices of the commission have been advised to place details of application numbers, Roll numbers and ticket number of candidates at least one week before the date of the examination. They will also provide the facility of downloading of Admission Certificate (Hall Ticket) from their website. If you do not receive the Admission Certificate within a month of the Examination and are unable to download the Admission Certificate from the Regional website concerned, you must contact the Regional office concerned.
Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form shall not be entertained under any circumstances. The Staff Selection Commission will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details in the application or omission to provide the required details in the application form.

(i) Off-line applications: Tile candidates should pay the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee StampsK RIS)"only .( RFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Post Office in such a manner that the impression of the cancellation stamps partially overflows on the Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage. After getting the Recruitment Fee Stamps cancelled from the Post Office, the candidate must submit his application to the concerned Regional Office/Sub Regional Offices of the Commission in the usual manner after completing other formalities. Applications with CRFS not cancelled by the post office will be rejected outrightly.

(ii) On-line applications: The candidates submitting their applications on-line can pay the requisite fee on-line through net-banking/credit cards or debit cards or cash through SBI bank challan.

ENGAGEMENT OF INSPECTORS ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS IN CBI

Looking for retired and serving Police Officers of the rank of Inspector and above for appointment as Inspector on contract for one (01) year or till the filling up of these vacancies either by Promotion or by Deputation, whichever is earlier at a consolidated remuneration not exceeding Rs.40.000/- per month. The candidate should be graduate from recognized university. The person engaged shall have no right to claim regularization/absorption in the organization alter the expiry of period of contract.
The retired officers of the Central/State Police Forces of the rank of Inspector or above with 10 years of experience in Investigation and Prosecution of Criminal Cases in the Court of Law are eligible for appointment to the above mentioned post. The candidates will be on whole time appointment and will have no right to undertake part time private employment during the period of contract. The Inspectors appointed on Contract will be utilized by HoZ/HoB in best interest of CBI, which should take into account the performance of duties of Pairvi Officers at Special CBI Courts.
