Grade pay Rs. 2200/-per month, plus other allowances as admissible under the rules. Applications are invited to fill up 6748 posts. The date and venue of physical test and Written Test would be intimated in due course of time by various means and through the Assam Police website www.assampolice.gov.in. APPOINTMENT

In accordance with the Section 91 of the Electricity Act 2003 applications are invited for the post of Secretary Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission either from the serving or retired officers belonging to Alt India Administrative Services or Central Civil Services. Central Engineering Services and Assam Civil Service of the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam and above.

Desirable Qualification:

1. The candidates must possess 10 years of experience in Indian Administrative Service or Central Civil Service, 25 years in Central Engineering Service or 20 years of experience in State Civil Service in the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam and above.
2. Serving officers shall be treated as on deputation as per normal terms and conditions of their parent organisation.
3. The retired officers of the above qualification having maximum age of 62 years as on 1st December, 2014, may also apply.
4. The persons should not have any financial or other interest with any corporate entity dealing with Generation, Transmission and Trading and Distribution of electricity in Assam. The persons must give a certificate to this effect while applying for the post.
5. The persons must have excellent written and commendable verbal communication skill and the capacity to deal with the Government Departments/PSUs. Persons working in any industry governed under a Regulatory framework or with Regulatory/Judicial bodies shall be preferred.
6. The pay scale of the Secretary shall be Rs. 12000/- to 40000/- having Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/- with other allowances as applicable to the officers of Government of Assam. However, for the retired officers, the pay package will be based on his last pay drawn minus Basic Pension (if any) on the date of his retirement. For officers coming on deputation, their salary and allowances that they arc presently drawing in their present place of posting shall be protected.
7. Candidates, who are in service, may apply through proper channel. However, they may send advance copy to this Commission.
8. The applicants shall have to appear before a Selection Board constituted by the Commission.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bongaigaon Refinery requires Contingent Duty Medical Officer (CDMO) on contract on full time basis as follows:

• Qualification: MBBS with Diploma in Child Health or MD In Medicine.
• Emoluments Consolidated monthly emoluments of Rs. 51,400/- per month to CDMO with Diploma qualification and Rs. 59,700/- per month to CDMO with MD qualification.
• Period of engagement: One year effective from June'14/July'14
