The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] (an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA-TIFR Is looking for a energetic, highly motivated Individual for radio astronomy related software developmental activities.
- Scientific Officer-E: [1 post UR, HQ: Pune] TME:71,300/-. PB-3 : 15600-39100; GP: 7600].
- Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. In any branch of Physics or Astronomy.
- Experience: At least 7 years (post-Ph.D.) in software development related activities. Applicants with experience in radio astronomy related software development are particularly encouraged. The position is initially tenable at NCRA-TIFR, Pune University Campus, but the selected Individual may be transferred to any of NCRA'a other facilities depending on need.
- Age: Below 40 years, as on 1/Jan/2014.
