Applications are Invited for Direct Recruitment of 02 (two) posts of Lab Attendant (Group-C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial), (UR -01 and ST- 01 category) temporary but likely to continue, in Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India. The eligibility and other details are mentioned below:-

Relaxable for Government Servants upto 40 yearn in the case of general candidates and upto 45 years in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes- or the Scheduled tribes in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time).NOTE (1): The crucial date fur determining the age limit shall be closing date for the receipt of application from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those in Assam. Meghalaya. Arunachal Pradesh. Mizoram. Mnnipur Nagaland. Sikkim. Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State. Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Andman & Nicobor Islands and Lakshadweep) NOTE (2): The crucial date for determining the age limit in case of candidates through from Employment Exchange shall be the last date upto which the Employment Exchange is asked to submit the names.
6	Eligibility	1) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent 2) Two years working experience in chemical laboratory of Government / Semi-Government / Universities etc. where chemical laboratories are in working conditions with chemical analytical instruments, Glassware's reagents etc., Note: The qualification regarding experience it / are Relaxable at the discretion of the Staff Selection Commission in the case of candidates belonging o the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes, it at any stage of selection, the Staff Selection Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communicates possessing the requisite experience arc no likely to be available to full up the vacancies reserved for them.

8	Probation Period	Two years
9	Last date of receipt of application	30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News.
10	How to apply	Interested candidates who fulfill the above requirements and are willing to serve anywhere in India may apply (through proper channel. If already in Govt, service) in the specimen format given below along with attested photocopies of educational qualification / experience, employment registration details (if any) and caste certificate (recent ST Caste Certificate obtained from the concerned District Authority) to the office of The Regional Director, Central Ground Water Board. 11	Other information	Application which are incomplete / ineligible/ unsigned not supported with requisite documents, received after the due date or otherwise deficient in any manner will be out rightly rejected. Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right of a candidate for being called for the interview / trade test. A Screening Committee will scrutinize all the applications received for the post(s) and only short-listed candidates will he called for interview/trade test. The decision of the screening committee will he final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The Department will not be responsible for postal delay in receipt of application. Candidates already employed in Central/State/Public Sector Undertakings should submit their applications through proper channel with obtaining No Object/an Certificate from the Employer.Suppressing of any facts i.e. qualification experience, age. caste etc. being detected at any stage, before or after the test interview, the candidate w dl stand automatically disqualified / cancelled.
