Advertisement for the Post of Project Assistant/Instrument Operator

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Project Assistant/Instrument Operator on a purely temporary basis for a period of Five years, at Central Instrumentation Facility, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune- 411007

1. Post:   Project Assistant/Instrument Operator: Five Nos. (5) Open: Three (3), SC: One (1) and ST: One (1)
2. Salary: Rs.20,000/- p.m. (fixed)
3. Eligibility: M.Sc. in Physical / Chemical / Life / Electronic & Instrumentation Science with 55% minimum marks for Open category students and 50% minimum marks for Reserved Category candidates or equivalent GPA of the credit-base system with computer knowledge. At least two years experience of handling sophisticated instruments is essential.
4. Age : 28 years for Open and 5 years relaxation for Reserved Category candidates. In case of experienced Candidate University reserves the right of age relaxation up to 35 years.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail / mobile SMS and invited to appear for the interview at the designated date and time at the Department of Chemistry, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune 411 007. Candidates belonging to other category may also apply, they will get opportunity if open/reserved candidates are not available.
6. Nature of Job : To operate and maintain highly sophisticated instruments required for research work and other duties given by supervisor/ seniors. Candidates will have to work in shifts as and when required. No T.A./D.A. will be provided to the candidates for attending the interview.
