10th, 12th Result 2014 Uttar Pradesh UP Board
UP Board class 10th exams starting from 3rd of March 2014, ending on 21st March 2014 have their results scheduled to be released in the last week of May or first week of June, 2014.
Also, the class 12th UP Board exams are scheduled to take place from 3rd March 2014 to 4th April 2014, the result of which is expected to be declared in the first week of June 2014.
The exam is to take place in two shifts i.e. 7:30 am to 10:45 am and 2 pm to 5: 15 pm and will be held in 10,500 centres across the country. As per the official reports, around 71.20 lakh students have filled up the forms for class 10th whereas, on the other hand, 31.27 lakh students in class 12th have enrolled themselves. An increment of 9.5 % is visible as compared to the 2013 enrolment.
In the last year UP Board Class 12th exams, the girls managed to grab a 96.32 pass percentage surpassing the boys who received only 89.79% success.
Uttar Pradesh Board had been holding these exams since 1923 and is among India's largest examining bodies. Established in 1921, the board has its head quarters in Allahabad and has four regional offices in Meerut, Varanasi, Allahabad and Bareilly.
Around 1.12 lakh students are to appear for the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board exams which begin today for both Class 10 and Class 12. From the total of 1.12 lakh students, 59, 254 students will appear for Class 10, including 30,368 boys and 28,886 girls while 53,346 students, including 26,960 boys and 26,386 girls will attempt the Class 12 examination. In comparison to the 2013 UP Board exams, almost 9.5 per cent increase in students attempting class 10 and class 12 exams has been witnessed.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board has increased the number of exam centres for the 2013-2014 Board exam by 13 centres, giving a grand total of 229 available exam centres. The UP Board Class 10 exams have begun from March 3, 2014 and end on March 21, 2014 with 14 exam dates. The UP Board Class 12 exams also began from March 3, 2014 and end on April 4, 2014 with 25 exam dates. The exams will be held in two shifts: the first shift from 07:30 AM to 10:45 AM and the second shift will take place from 02:00 PM to 05:15 PM.
Class 10 exam for March 3, 2014 is for the subject of Hindi held in the first shift and the Class 12 exam for March 3, 2014 is Military Science in the first shift and Hindi - I in the second shift.
The UP Board class 10 exams have their results scheduled to be released in the last week of May or first week of June, 2014 and the result of Class 12 is expected to be declared in the first week of June 2014.
