Walk in interview for Project Assistant

Invites candidature for engagement of Project Assistant to work on a Science & Engineering Research Board, New Delhi (SERB) funded research project entitled 'Evolving strategies for mitigating urban heat island in Nagpur using 'Local Climate Zones' and Human Thermal Stress' Consolidated stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month only. The project staff will be working fulltime on this project for one year. The post is purely temporary in nature. Initial Contract shall only be for six months Based on the progress it will be extended for one year. Indian Nationals having passed B. Arch, or B. Plan (first division and with two years of experience after B. Arch. / B. Plan.) shall walk in for interview at 3.00 pm on 7th October 2014 in Department of Architecture and Planning, VNIT. South Ambazari Road, Nagpur 440011 along with Bio-data and original certificates of academic qualification and experience. Reporting for the interview will be from 2.30 to 3.00 pm on the same day, Proficiency in English (reading and writing) and knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD is desirable. The upper age limit is 30 years at the time of appointment. No separate call letters will be issued. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview. Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure the selection of the candidate. Director's decision will be final in the matter.
