Applications are invited for the post of One Research Associate (Open) and One Technical Assistant (Open) under the following MoES sponsored project to be undertaken by the Department of Geology. Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune-7

• Project Title: "Surface geological investigation of Koyna-Warna region to evaluate neotectonism with the emphasis on Quaternary sediments (using remote sensing techniques)"
• Research Associate:
• Qualification: Ph.D. in Geology with good research and academic record. The candidate should have research experience in Quaternary sedimentology, Deccan Volcanic Province, neotectonics and seismites demonstrated by research publications in national and international journals. The candidate should have the understanding of various remote sensing techniques.
• Technical Assistant:
• Qualification: M.Sc. in Geology with good research interest. The candidate should have knowledge of Geological Mapping in the Deccan Volcanic Province. The candidate should have the understanding of various geoanalytical techniques.
