Advertisement for Research Assistant

Applications are invited for a purely temporary assignment of Research Assistant under ISRO-STC project titled" Study of precipitation characteristics using disdrometer and satellite datasets over Pune".

• Research Assistant: One Post (Open for all)
• Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/-p.m. (Consolidated)
• Qualification: M. Tech. or M.Sc. in Atmospheric Science, Space Science or Meteorology OR those with M.Sc. Physics and who have completed one year of course work in Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology at M. Tech. level with minimum 55% marks or 3.5 GPA on 6 point grade or 5.5 GPA on a 10 point grade system.
• Relaxation: For Reserved Category students who are domiciles of Maharashtra, the qualifying marks will be relaxed by 5% or 0.5 GPA.
• Duration: Two years or tenure of the project whichever is earlier.
