Appointment of Junior Research Fellows

1. Applications on plain paper along with detailed bio-data and attested copies of the relevant documents are invited for the appointment of in the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MOES) GOI project.
2. Title of the Project: High throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis of deep sea samples using systems biology approach.
3. Name of the Post: JRF
4. Number of Posts: 2 (1 Open to all) & 01 (DT-A)
5. Project Duration: 4 years (2014 To 18) (The appointment is initially for 1 years and further extension is based on the satisfactory research performance).
6. Monthly Remunerations : Rs.12,000/-   or 16,000 + HRA Post graduate degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Marine Biotechnology and NET qualified (16,000 + HRA) Or Post Graduate degree in basic sciences and NET qualified for lectureship (12,000 +HRA)
7. Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology/ Marine Microbiology/ Marine Biotechnology/ Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or equivalent degree with minimum 70 % marks or Equivalent grade.
8. Desirable Qualification and Experience : One year research experience in Marine Microbiology and Molecular Biology.
9. Last Date for receiving applications: 30th August 2014
