Advertisement for Research Associate (RA)
- Applications are invited for a purely temporary assignment of Research Associate (RA) under DST-PURSE program.
- Research Associate (RA): One Post reserved for SC (Scheduled Caste). [Candidates from other categories may also apply and will be considered if no SC candidate is available/found suitable]
- Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
- Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Atmospheric Science, Space Science or Meteorology with minimum 55 % marks or 3.5 GPA on 6 point grade or 5.5 GPA on a 10 point grade system. Ph.D. or Two years research experience with at least one published paper in SCI Journal.
- Relaxation: For Reserved Category students who are domiciles of Maharashtra, the qualifying marks will be relaxed by 5% or 0.5 GPA.
- Duration: Till 31st March 2018 or tenure of the project whichever is earlier. Applications should be made on a plain paper stating name, address for correspondence, permanent address, telephone number, e-mail, date of birth, educational record, attested copies of SSC, HSC, B.Sc, M.Sc./ M.Tech. statement of marks, copy of the published paper and experience certificate, Caste and Validity certificate.
- Applications should be sent by post or by hand to the Head of Department, Department of Atmospheric & Space Sciences (Publication Complex), University of Pune., Pune 411007 within 15 days from the date of putting the advertisement on the website.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
