Engagement of a Chief Accounts and Finance Officer on contract

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of a Chief Accounts and Finance Officer on contract.

The expected job is as follows.

• Overall Guidance and supervision of accounts with reference to audit compliance ad per GFR -2005 of Govt, of India.
• Guidance in preparation, submission and overall monitoring of the budget allocation.
• Compliance of various tax related matter like deduction of tax at source, under Income Tax act and VAT Act. Professional tax act etc and its compliance with the issues raised by the various authorities in day to day activities
• Submission of the financial information required for executive council and general council meetings.
• Submission of timely statements under FCRA.
• Assisting in finalizing the terms with various contractors and vendors for various contractors and vendors for various services / purchases after considering all the financial and technical issues and the overall competitiveness of the contract.
• Assisting in formulation of various financial guidelines and manuals relating to the overall Finance functioning of MGIRI
• Assisting the Director, MGIRI or In-Charge in any other matter of what so ever nature as may be required.

Terms & condition

1. Qualification : Post graduate in commerce preferably in 2nd Class/ LL B.
2. Desirable :   Minimum 15 years experience in fiance and accounts in central / state Govt, jobs. Must have qualified Maharashtra Accounts and Audit exam.
3. Age : Not below 45 years and not above 65 years
4. Period of contract : The services are expected to be procured for initial period of 11 months. The tenure may be extended further depending upon performance and / or the need. The contract can be ended mutually on 30 days notice from either side.
5. Cost of services : Estimated cost of service is  Rs 15,000 per month, and higher remuneration may be considered for outstanding and deserving candidate.
6. The last date of sending the application in prescribed format  is  25/08/2014.
